Check out the latest edition of Arti-Facts, Fall/Winter 2024 to enjoy the feature article about Ellis Greist, an excellent woodworker who predates the well known Seldon Beldon. Besides furniture and rough hewn mantels,  Greist also created a large number of  unsigned beautiful lathe-turned bowls and urns. To learn more about Greist, Click on the “About Us” drop down menu and then click on “Arti-Facts” – Our Museum Newsletter”. Enjoy!

We now have all 72 issues of our newsletter, Arti-Facts, on our website!

In our first year we began collecting donations of material documenting mountain history, launched a periodic newsletter, organized field trips to nearby museums, inaugurated the annual Idyllwild Home Tour and trained volunteers to meet recognized standards for curating the growing collection.
Enjoy your Visit!
