WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17 – 5:00 – 6:30PM – IAHS OPEN HOUSE: “Untold Tales of our Town”. Once a year we open the Archive Building to share what treasures we have that won’t be seen in the museum. The Museum will be open as well. Join us for a closer look at your museum. Refreshments will be available. The event is free.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 – 2:00 – 4:00PM – IAHS GENERAL MEETING at the Idyllwild Public Library Community Room: Join us for an overview of the museum’s activities and projects as well as a presentation by a speaker about an aspect of Idyllwild’s history. FREE
SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 – 12:00 – 2:00 PM (or until the ice cream is gone!) – ICE CREAM SOCIAL at the museum – This is our way of saying thank you to the Idyllwild Community for your support. There will be sundaes, root beer floats and good ‘ol ice cream to enjoy.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 -10:00AM to 4:00PM – 2026 IDYLLWILD HOME TOUR: This is our annual fundraiser and a chance to see five beautiful and unique Idyllwild homes.

TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE ONLINE ON JUNE 1.
TICKETS SALES AT THE MUSEUM WILL BEGIN ON SATURDAY, JUNE 6.
THE LAST DAY TO BUY TICKETS ONLINE IS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17.
THE LAST DAY TO BUY TICKETS AT THE MUSEUM IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13.
TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF HOME TOUR AT THE SALES BOOTH NEAR THE MONUMENT.
Tickets this year will be $30 per person. This event is our major fund-raiser, supplying over one-third of the annual operating budget.
Each year IAHS offers public access to several homes, that vary in age, style, and setting. Each home is opened to the public for viewing both inside and out. These homes will introduce visitors to a range of mountain lifestyles. This is NOT a driving tour. Be advised, homes may not be wheelchair accessible and walking surfaces may be rocky or uneven. Good walking shoes, a hat and water are recommended.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day at the Village Garden on the museum grounds, where local artists will be displaying their work. Join us for a day to remember!
